Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough Experts in Ontario
Professional Drainage & Exterior Trim Solutions Built to Last
Ontario’s weather is relentless. Heavy snow loads, ice dams, spring runoff, and intense summer storms push your home’s drainage system to its limits every single year. Damaged or missing eavestroughs don’t just look bad; they allow water to pool against your foundation, seep into your basement, and rot the wood framing behind your exterior trim. By the time you notice the problem, the damage is already done.
At Tech Home Renovations, we treat soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs as a complete exterior drainage system not three separate jobs. Every component works together to move water away from your home and protect it from the outside in. We serve homeowners across Southern Ontario, from Hamilton and Burlington to London, Guelph, and the Niagara Region.
Our Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough Services
Damaged gutters, rotting fascia, and blocked soffits are more than cosmetic problems; they’re the leading causes of preventable water damage in Ontario homes. We diagnose the full system before recommending any work, so every repair or replacement actually solves the problem at its source.
01
Aluminum Eavestrough Installation
Ontario’s snow loads and ice dams demand gutters built for the pressure. We install seamless aluminum eavestroughs with correct slope, reinforced hangers, and proper downspout placement directing water away from your foundation and preventing the leaks and basement damage that follow when drainage fails.
02
Fascia Board Replacement
Fascia is the first place wood rot takes hold behind a failing gutter. We remove damaged material, address the underlying wood and adjacent siding as needed, and install low-maintenance aluminum fascia that won’t warp, crack, or peel leaving your roofline clean and your home protected.
03
Soffit Installation & Repair
Soffit seals your roof overhang against moisture and pests while ventilating your attic. When it’s damaged or blocked, heat builds up and condensation follows. We install ventilated aluminum and vinyl soffit that improves airflow, keeps insects out, and holds up through Ontario winters.
04
Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance
Clogged gutters are one of the most common causes of preventable water damage in Ontario. We offer seasonal cleaning and full system inspections clearing debris, identifying early damage, and keeping your eavestroughs flowing freely before small problems become expensive ones.
05
Gutter Guards & Protection Systems
Gutter guards keep leaves and debris out while letting water through, reducing how often your system needs cleaning and cutting the risk of overflow. We install durable leaf protection systems suited to Ontario’s tree-lined neighbourhoods and the seasonal debris volume that comes with them.
06
Downspout Extensions & Drainage
A downspout discharging too close to your foundation is a basement problem in progress. We assess your grading, drainage patterns, and surrounding landscaping, then install extensions, splash blocks, or underground options as needed moving water well away from your home and protecting your foundation long-term.

How We Approach Every Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough Project
Every project begins with a full inspection of your existing drainage system, not just the obvious problem. We assess slope, downspout placement, soffit ventilation, fascia condition, and how water currently moves around your home. You’ll know exactly what needs to be done and why before any work begins. No surprises, no upselling, just clear, expert work from a team that gets the details right.
On-Site Owner Oversight
Most contractors send a crew and hope for the best. Ryan shows up for the assessment, the installation, and the final walkthrough. If something isn't right, it gets fixed on the spot by the person whose name is on the work.
Durability & Curb Appeal
Seamless aluminum eavestroughs last 20+ years with basic maintenance. New soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs also do something: a functioning drainage system alone can't clean up your roofline, match your trim, and visibly improve your home's exterior from the street.
Proven Drainage Techniques
Gutters alone don't protect a foundation. Correct slope, downspout placement, grading integration, and proper flashing all have to work together. We install the full system because that's what actually prevents foundation cracks, basement flooding, and wood rot.
Right Material. Right Hardware.
Aluminum expands and contracts with Ontario's temperature swings, and cheap hardware fails because of it. We use heavy-gauge aluminum, stainless fasteners, and high-bond sealants rated for that stress. The difference doesn't show in year one it shows in year ten when everything still holds.
Modern Siding Systems That Protect, Insulate, and Impress
Your siding does more than make your home look good. It acts as a critical barrier against Ontario’s harsh winters, driving rain, and summer humidity. When siding fails or was never installed correctly moisture gets in. That leads to rot, mold, insulation damage, and skyrocketing energy bills.
At Tech Home Renovations, we’ve perfected the watershed and enveloping systems that make siding truly perform. We combine modern, high-performance materials with expert installation to give your home lasting protection and serious curb appeal. We serve homeowners across Southern Ontario, from Hamilton and Kitchener to London and beyond.
A quality siding upgrade isn’t just cosmetic. According to industry research, new siding can recoup over 75% of its cost at resale making it one of the highest-ROI exterior improvements you can make.

Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough Services Across Southern Ontario
Poor drainage looks different depending on where you live. Homes near the Niagara Escarpment deal with concentrated runoff. Older neighbourhoods in Hamilton and Brantford often have undersized original gutters. Newer subdivisions in Waterloo and Oakville have grading that shifts over time. We’ve worked across all of it and we know what each type of home actually needs.

"We were nervous about choosing colours and materials for such a big exterior renovation, but Tech Home Renovations walked us through computer renderings so we could see different options on our actual home before committing. FAQ's
In Southern Ontario, most homes benefit from eavesthrough cleaning twice a year once in late spring after trees have finished seeding, and again in late fall after the leaves have dropped. Homes with overhanging trees or heavy debris may need more frequent cleaning. Regular maintenance prevents clogging, overflow, and the water damage that follows.
Seamless gutters are fabricated on-site as a single continuous piece custom-cut to the exact length of your roofline. Unlike sectional gutters, they have no joints along their length only at corners and downspouts which means far fewer places for leaks to develop. They're the industry standard for residential installations and the only type we install.
Common signs include visible sagging, pulling away from the fascia, rust or corrosion, cracks or holes, water staining on siding below the gutter line, and water pooling near your foundation after rain. If your eavestroughs are more than 20 years old or showing multiple issues, replacement is typically more cost-effective than ongoing repairs.
Fascia is the vertical board that runs along the edge of your roofline, directly behind the eavestrough. Soffit is the horizontal surface that covers the underside of the roof overhang the part you see when you look up at your eaves from outside. Both protect the structural components of your roof from moisture and pests, and both contribute to your home's finished exterior appearance.
Quality gutter guards significantly reduce how often your eavestroughs need cleaning by keeping leaves and larger debris out while allowing water to flow through. They don't eliminate maintenance entirely, fine debris and roof granules can still accumulate over time but they extend the intervals between cleanings and reduce the risk of overflow and clogging.
